Great Wall at Auto Shanghai 2009

SHANGHAI, CHINA - April 22, 2009: Great Wall Motor Co. introduced three new high-end models at the Auto Shanghai Show.

To demonstrate its international strength Great Wall Motor invited its delaers from 90 countries.

The stand was developed around the concept of "three": there will be three sub-brands, including SUV, passenger car and light commercial vehicle

Passenger cars included the yet unnamed CHC011 sedan, the new Coolbear, Florid and GWPeri.

SUV category will be organized around the Hover.

Also Great Wall will be offering small minivans.

The CHC011 sedan is powered by a self-developed 3.0-liter V6 engine mated to an automatic gearbox.

Great Wall also showed an electric prototype with lithium-ion batteries.
