Mitsubishi Australia Appoints New Corporate Communications Manager

TONSLEY PARK, AUSTRALIA – April 21, 2009: Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) has appointed Kit Bashford to the position of manager, corporate communications. To ensure enhanced east-coast communication operations, Kit will be based in MMAL’s Sydney office, reporting to the company’s head of corporate communications, Lenore Fletcher.

Kit will be the contact for media fleet bookings for both Sydney and Melbourne. Brisbane and Perth press fleet booking contact details remain unchanged (see table below).

Kit joined MMAL in 2006 and has held various positions within the company, most recently as state sales development manager in the sales and marketing division. Previously, Kit was the senior account manager for the Mitsubishi account with below-the-line production agency, Augment. Kit replaces Robert Chadwick who will now head up project management within the company.
