Honda Wins Major Farm World Award

TULLAMARINE, AUSTRALIA – April 20, 2009: From humble beginnings back in 1963 with just five machinery exhibitors, Farm World has gone on to become regional Victoria’s second largest agricultural event with over 650 exhibitors and 50,000 people attending the annual 4-day event in March this year.

Honda Australia won the Best Automotive and Farm Machinery stand at the 2009 event held at Warragul, Victoria.

The Honda exhibit included an enormous selection of Honda’s diverse product range including the Accord Euro, 2008 Wheels Car of the Year and the 2008 Drive Car of the Year, the V6 Accord. Also featured were Honda’s motorcycle, ATV, marine and power product ranges.

Lindsay Smalley, Honda Australia’s Senior Director, was delighted with the award and thanked the organisers of the Farm World Exhibition. “We enjoy supporting the regional communities throughout Australia and are thrilled to have been recognised for our efforts.”

Farm World is a broad based agricultural event held at Lardner Park, Warragul and has consistently attracted a full complement of exhibitors, despite the difficult trading years affected by drought and fluctuating stock prices.
