Coming Soon: The Big One Huge Hotdog Headlines New Menu at Talladega Superspeedway

TALLADEGA, Ala. April 14, 2009: Race fans won’t have to wait for the action on the track to heat up at Talladega Superspeedway to experience “The Big One”; they’ll be able to order it anytime they want. A one-third pound hotdog served with a special Speedway Sauce, the Big One is part of a revamped menu designed to give race fans more concession options at NASCAR’s Most Competitive Track.

“During the off-season, we worked closely with our concessionaire, Americrown, to create a menu specifically designed for Talladega Superspeedway,” said Talladega Superspeedway President Rick Humphrey. “When race fans arrive for the Aaron’s Dream Weekend, they will find new offerings of both brand-name cuisine and one-of-a-kind creations. It’s all a part of making sure that the service and atmosphere of Talladega Superspeedway matches the quality of our on-track experience.”

Guests will find staples from home at Talladega, such as Papa John’s pizza and Boardwalk Fries. They will also find giant offerings from Juicys Outlaw Grill, which can turn out over 1,000 items at a time ranging from turkey legs, to burgers and giant western sausage.

However, most satisfying may be the offerings from Americrown itself. With new items such as the Big One, value-priced combo meals offering savings up to 25% and lower prices on regular hotdogs, race fans will get great servings at reasonable prices.

Other new menu items include: Bama BBQ, Prime Rib Sandwiches, Nachos Grande and a half-pound Angus burger.
