VICI Racing is delighted to announce today an exciting new partnership with T-Mobile USA, Inc., to take up the challenge of one of global motorsports’ most professional championships, the American Le Mans Series. T-Mobile and VICI Racing will kick-off the multi-year relationship, and the 2009 racing program, at this weekend’s Tequila Patrón American Le Mans Series at Long Beach.

Braselton, April 14, 2009: The team will run the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR at North America’s premier street circuit, and then contest the remaining rounds of the premier sports car series.

VICI Racing is a long-time established German/US racing team which will be setting out on its second year in the prestigious series. T-Mobile USA is a leading innovator and provider of mobile communications. At the end of 2008, T-Mobile USA served more than 32.8 million customers. T-Mobile USA is the U.S. operation of Deutsche Telekom AG’s Mobile Communications Business, and a wholly owned subsidiary of T-Mobile International, one of the world’s leading companies in mobile communications.

Ron C. Meixner, President VICI Racing: “VICI Racing is setting out on this ambitious new partnership and starting what will be an important new chapter for our company that has all the ingredients in place to achieve success at the highest levels; so I’m really delighted to be able to announce this exciting partnership. T-Mobile is truly a world-class brand, and its ambition and drive make it a perfect fit for top-level motor racing. I can safely say that both parties are raring to go out and achieve success. I must also express my deep thanks to Porsche and Michelin who have been very supportive of us as ever. It has quite simply been an unrivalled opportunity which necessitated a swift tweak to our 2009 program and so everyone is now looking forward to getting our year under way at Long Beach. Now we must all work very hard together to ensure we deliver the results.”

Paul Ritchie, President and CEO Porsche Motorsport North America: “I’m delighted to welcome Ronny Meixner and VICI Racing back to the American Le Mans Series with a Porsche in 2009. We are pleased that he has signed such a strong team sponsor - T-Mobile - which, like Porsche, is a global household name and a terrific success story. We are gratified to see Ronny Meixner and VICI Racing, names associated with Porsche for 20 years, continuing their commitment and participation in the American Le Mans Series in what promises to be a successful year for the team.”

Hans Stuck, Volkswagen Group Motorsport Representative: “I’m very pleased to see this program come together which is the result of a lot of hard work and commitment on all sides. Ronny (Meixner) was an uncompromising teammate and tough rival when we were racing the (Porsche) 962 back in the ’90s, and he has taken his steely determination to win to the other side of the pitwall as a team owner. T-Mobile will be an excellent partner to VICI Racing - they are a superb case study of how to succeed and thrive in a competitive environment, so the mix is there to take the fight to the front. We have a very professional crew and fast drivers so now we can push forward through the season and look to collect good results. I’m really looking forward to being on the pitwall in Long Beach, and being back in the cockpit later this season.”
