TOPEKA, Kan. April 9, 2009: Fans of the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge Championships will now be able to enjoy the sounds of World Challenge racing wherever they are with streaming audio available online, live from each race weekend.

Part of the series’ new partnership with Internal Combustion Group, fans can now log onto www.world-challenge.com to listen to Tom Hnatiw’s play-by-play of every race throughout the 2009 World Challenge season.

“If you can’t make it to the race itself or wait for it to air on SPEED, this is the perfect solution,” WC Vision VP of Marketing & Communications Dave Drimmie said. “Tom has the ability to make the fans feel like they’re right there in the stands and with live scoring already available online, a computer just became one of the best seats in the house.”

“This is a real treat for World Challenge fans,” Hnatiw said. “Not only will they be able to hear what’s unfolding on track at the moment it happens, but we often welcome special guests into the PA booth that offer incredible insight into the weekend. It’s compelling entertainment for any racing fan.”

Live audio can be accessed each weekend, by selecting the current event and clicking the goracetv.com link on the left side of the page.
