Marco Andretti on Algarve: "We need to get a good result for the team in Portugal. We don't have many chances left this season, so we need to take advantage of each session. Hopefully, we can hit on something right away and build on it instead of fighting out of a hole and trying to play catch up the rest of the weekend."
Marco Andretti Facts · This will be Andretti's fifth start in the A1 Team USA entry in A1GP. · Andretti finished third in the 2008 Feature Race in Sepang, Malaysia. · Andretti's A1GP debut came in November 2008 in China where he finished 15th in the Sprint Race and eighth in the Feature Race. · Andretti finished seventh in the 2008 IndyCar Series championship. · He piloted the AGR ALMS LMP2 entry in three races during the 2008 season. · He finished second in the 2006 Indianapolis 500 and has recorded second-place and third-place finishes in his three career Indianapolis 500 starts. · He joined both his father and grandfather in earning the Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year honor. · In 2006, Andretti became the youngest driver (19 years, five months, 14 days) at the time to win a major open-wheel race when he took the checkered flag at Infineon Raceway.
