Knowl Hill Suzuki Appointed In Reading

READING, UNITED KINGDOM – April 1, 2009: Suzuki GB PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of the new Knowl Hill Suzuki franchise dealer in Reading, Berkshire, as part of the expansion of the Japanese manufacturer’s presence along the M4 corridor.

The new Suzuki showroom in Twyford shares the premises with one of the most successful Chrysler franchises in the UK and Europe, and is a site well-known in the region thanks to being established on the Bath Road for more than 70 years. Suzuki customers have access to both sales, parts and servicing facilities, in addition to a five car workshop and in-house MOT testing facility.

The premises at Knowl Hill are well known to the local community having first opened for business in April 1936 by Gilbert and Joan Fidler. In those pre-war days of relatively few cars on the road the garage quickly gained an excellent reputation for repairs and provided an essential stopping point for London bound traffic seeking out a petrol station for the 35 mile trip – quite an excursion back then.
