The Milwaukee Mile, Budweiser And Beechwood Sales & Service Renew Sponsor Agreement

MILWAUKEE, Wis. March 23, 2009: The Milwaukee Mile announced today that they have extended their marketing agreement with Budweiser and Beechwood Sales & Service, one of Wisconsin’s largest Anheuser-Busch distributors. As part of the multi-year deal, Budweiser will be the official sponsor of The Mile in the malt beverage category.

Beechwood Sales & Service, Budweiser and The Milwaukee Mile will also collaborate on print, broadcast and outdoor advertising to highlight special race ticket offers to major league auto racing events. Budweiser will also have an increased presence at the historic speedway, including a highly visible signage location atop the track’s infield Milton Peck Media Center.

“We have a very active sponsor committed to continuing the rich auto racing history and tradition at The Milwaukee Mile. Speaking on behalf of our loyal fans in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin, we deeply appreciate Beechwood Sales & Service and Budweiser’s dedicated support,” commented Milwaukee Mile President & CEO Claude Napier.

“As a local company, we understand what this sport means to the community,” said Dave Hock, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Beechwood Sales & Service. “We’re excited to continue our sponsorship with the Milwaukee Mile, and look forward to spending the 2009 race season with our adult consumers.”

This agreement builds on what was in place for the 2008 racing season, now signed with newly-announced Milwaukee Mile promoter Wisconsin Motorsports, LLC. Terms were not disclosed.
