TEMPE, Ariz. March 17, 2009: Muzzy Racing, which campaigns the No. 56 All-Cut Concrete Cutting Viper piloted by Arizona’s Ritch Marziale, will return for the 2009 SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT Championship.
After a strong 2008 season that saw Marziale equal his career-best finish of eighth at Watkins Glen and enter his best qualifying performance at Miller Motorsports Park, where he started outside the front row, Marziale is preparing for his 20th World Challenge start this week at Sebring. Fans will do a double-take at Sebring, however, as Marziale’s signature red Viper has been transformed to a brilliant blue.
While receiving support from Motul Oil, K&N Filters and Brembo Brakes, Marziale will carry livery for Prevention of Child Abuse America on the No. 56 Viper.
"We have not lost any time from last year,” Marziale said. “Also, we have the honor of campaigning the Prevention of Child Abuse America Logo on the car. I can't thank our sponsors enough, because without them and their passion for World Challenge racing we wouldn't be here."
Muzzy Racing’s season begins with the Toyo Tires SCCA SPEED World Challenge Season Opener at Sebring. Live timing, notes and photo galleries are available at www-worldchallenge.com.
