A NEW AMERICAN LE MANS SERIES ONLINE EXPERIENCE

Braselton, GA. March 11, 2009: Fans around the world are getting a fresh look at the world's leading sports car series as the American Le Mans Series launches a completely new ALMS, the official Web site of the Series. With an enhanced digital Series strategy in place, the new site is the focal point for information whether users are new to the Series or have been following from Day 1.

"The new americanlemans.com represents the cornerstone of our ongoing development of our digital platform," said Series President and CEO Scott Atherton. "Nothing can match the experience of an American Le Mans Series race in person, but the goal of the new ALMS is to recreate that experience online with an unprecedented level of entertainment, information and interaction with the personalities and programs that make up this prestigious championship. The American Le Mans Series is and always will be one that is truly 'For the Fans' and this Web site evolution is just the latest example."

The many features online includes a mix of familiar and popular staples along with exciting, new content. They include:

In addition, registered media members will gain access to in-depth Series content that will offer unprecedented online aid in covering and reporting on the American Le Mans Series. Some features include:

Driver biographies along with team and manufacturer information will be updated for public and media uses following each Series race.

The American Le Mans Series will open its 11th season with the 57th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida on Saturday, March 21. SPEED will televise the race live from 10 a.m. to noon and 2-11 p.m. EDT. American Le Mans Radio and Live Timing & Scoring will be available at americanlemans.com. Sebring also will mark the debut of the MICHELIN® Green X® Challenge for 2009.
