Jeff Gordon to appear in the Monster Mile Club at Dover International Speedway on Sunday, May 31

DOVER, Del. March 11, 2009: Four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon will appear in the Monster Mile Club at Dover International Speedway on Sunday, May 31, 2009. The Monster Mile Club, an all-inclusive pre-race hospitality option at Dover, is consistently a fan favorite and provides exclusive entertainment, an all-you-can-eat buffet and beverages, and much more for race fans on the morning of the race.

Gordon, driver of the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet, is a four-time winner at the Monster Mile and currently one of the hottest drivers in NASCAR. He sits atop the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series point standings following four races this season and is in hot pursuit of his fifth career championship. Gordon finished in the top-10 in both Dover races in 2008 and is always a threat to win on the one-mile, high-banked concrete oval.

Gordon will participate in a hosted question-and-answer session for those in attendance in the Monster Mile Club. A ticket to the Monster Mile Club also includes a trackside tour on the frontstretch of the track as teams prepare for race day, live entertainment, a special Dover souvenir gift, a souvenir program, interactive games and much more.

The Monster Mile Club opens at 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 31 with a continental breakfast. Trackside tours begin at 8:30 a.m. and the hosted question and answer session with Jeff Gordon will follow later in the morning. An all-you-can-eat lunch will be served at 11 a.m. prior to the start of the 400-mile NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, scheduled to take the green flag at 2 p.m.
