The Biodiesel Industry Is Struggling And We Need Your Help!

Murrieta, CA. March 5, 2009: Alternative fuels like biodiesel are not talked about much in the media which is a shame considering all of the valuable benefits they can provide to the state of California and the environment. Unfortunately biodiesel does not get the media attention it truly deserves.

Biodiesel has been a viable alternative to gasoline because it has better fuel efficiency and burns cleaner, thus making it good for the environment. It has a greater lubricity than gasoline which means engines will last longer. Also, the unit value or energy per unit of biodiesel is greater than that of gasoline which means you go further on a gallon of biodiesel. This is good news for the consumer who will save more and do their part to reduce their carbon footprint.

Biodiesel has definitely proven to be a valuable alternative to gasoline, yet why does it not receive the attention it's so deserving of. Much of this is due to the state of the economy, petroleum gasoline prices dropping, and more attention being put on other alternative energies in California. Our goal at SRS is to educate the public on this amazing fuel and give it the exposure it's due.
