Retired Gen. Wesley Clark to Call for Increasing Amount of Ethanol Allowed in Gasoline Supply

WASHINGTON, March 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Retired Gen. Wesley Clark will call for an increase in the amount of ethanol that can be blended into the U.S. gasoline supply and will outline the future of the ethanol industry at a National Press Club Newsmaker press conference at noon on Friday, March 6, in the Holeman Lounge, 529 14th St., N.W., 13th floor.

In his remarks, Clark will critique the government's decades-old ethanol limit in gasoline. He also will recommend ethanol-based policies that can lead to job growth, energy independence and a cleaner environment.

Clark, former NATO commander, is co-chairman of Growth Energy, an advocacy group that promotes cleaner, greener energy.
