map & directionsJohnsonCity, NY - For the first time in the six year history of Southern TierSpeedworld presented by Mike Stolarcyk Chevrolet and Country Town Auto Servicethe show is officially sold out. This past week the final entries were allowedby NEARA Promotions, Inc. who is presenting and promoting the show that takesplace at the Oakdale Mall from Friday February 27th through Sunday March1st.

“ I told everyone that I wasn’t joking when I was speaking about notdelaying their car show entry “ stated Show Manager Robin Oltz. “ The OakdaleMall will be filled to capacity on that weekend as we’re over 80 entries. I knowof several race teams who kept telling me they were going to enter and I waiteduntil the last minute and didn’t receive their entry. Now they’re out of luck asI have no room left. “
Oltz continued on. “ Everyone who is in the show aregoing to be asked to remain very patient on move in night because of the largevolumes of racing machines that will be moving in. We have a plan that we’regoing to stick to and follow like we have done in the previous five years. Thebiggest thing is everyone being patient. “

The final set of entries inthe show are; Gary’s U–Pull–It, Jimmy Zacharias, TJ Anderson, Dave Simms, ScottWatson, Brian Decker, Tim Votra, Alex Shaffer, Chris Shaffer, Steve Polhamus,Ryan Stone, Tyler Yeagle, Travis Hayes, Rich Green, Butch Green, John Stanley,James Reynolds, Jessey Velez, and Tom Velez.

Now the work of finding asuitable floor plan that will keep traffic flowing smoothly throughout theOakdale Mall is being formulated. “ I’ll admit this will be the toughest floorplan that I’ve ever had to do “ said Oltz. “ Everyone is reminded that room isgoing to be tighter than previous years. Some teams that have really nicedisplays that take up a lot of room will be asked to downsize their display thisyear, just for the sake of space being very limited. “

Once again thisyear on Saturday night from 8 to 11 p. m. at the American Legion Post 80 on MainStreet in Binghamton will be the Country Town Auto Service Awards Party. Ticketsfor this gathering are limited and will be on sale at the Oakdale Mall from theSouthern Tier Speedworld booth until three in the afternoon onSaturday.
