1. Domestic Production
Due to a reduction in global demand, Mazda's domestic production volume of passenger and commercial vehicles in January 2009 decreased 66.2% compared to January 2008.

Mazda3 (Axela): 14,016 units (down 53.7% year-on-year)
Mazda2 (Demio): 6,909 units (down 52.9% year-on-year)

2. Overseas Production
Due to a reduction in global demand, Mazda's overseas production volume of passenger and commercial vehicles in January 2009 decreased 52.2% compared to January 2008.

Amid diminished overall market demand, Mazda's total domestic sales volume of passenger and commercial vehicles in January 2009 decreased 29.1% compared to January 2008.Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 6.1% (down 0.7 points year-on-year), with a 3.3% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.2 points year-on year) and a 5.0% total market share (down 0.6 points year-on-year).
