Edwards on racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway: “We only get to go to Vegas once a year. Last year was a blast. We won the race and I want to go back and win another one there. It’s a fun race to win. The Victory Lane is in the Neon Garage Fan Zone. That’s cool. It’s an ‘event’ when you win that race. We have to keep Ford’s winning streak alive. You know Matt Kenseth has won the first two races and we need to get our Ford into Victory Lane. That would be so cool.”

Crew chief, Bob Osborne on racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway: “Carl ran well here last year, at the end of the race we got out there and led some laps and ended up making it to victory lane. We’ve had strong finishes at these 1.5-mile tracks recently and I’m positive that if we provide a good car and stay out of wrecks the No. 99 team will have a successful day. We’re taking a new chassis to the track this year but the set up should be the same. It’s been a slow start and it’s time to turn things around. I think Las Vegas is the perfect track to gain some Chase points and get a win.”
