BRAD KESELOWSKI PREVIEW - LAS VEGAS - February 24, 2009

KESELOWSKI AT LAS VEGAS – Prior to this weekend, Keselowski has competed in two NASCAR Nationwide Series events and one Camping World Truck Series race at the 1.5-mile track. He recorded his best outing last year when he started 15th, led 12 laps, and was competing for the win in the closing stages before being taken out in an accident. He finished 23rd.

DOUBLE DUTY – In addition to running in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at LVMS this weekend, Keselowski will be attempting to make the field in the Sprint Cup Series event driving the No. 25 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports.

PACING THE FIELD – Keselowski led laps in each of the first two races this season and competed in the top-10 before late-race accidents ruined chances for good finishes. At Daytona, Keselowski led once for six laps, and in California he led once for two laps.

FIRST FOR UNILEVER – Unilever brands will make its debut on the hood of Keselowski’s No. 88 Chevrolet with Klondike as the primary sponsor this weekend. This is the first of 11 times Unilever brands will adorn the hood of the No. 88 and the first of three times for Klondike.

CHASSIS NO. 513 – The No. 88 team will run Chassis No. 513 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend. The car was most recently run at Texas Motor Speedway in the fall of 2008 where Keselowski qualified 14th and finished seventh.

KESELOWSKI (on last year’s race at LVMS) – “The race last year at Las Vegas was good morale booster for the team, despite being involved in the wreck at the end of the race. I felt like it was that race that we all got on the same page and we were able to believe in each other from there on out. Even though the day didn’t end how we had hoped, everyone was still happy with the effort because it was the first time we were running up front and were considered a contender.”

KESELOWSKI (on the start of the 2009 season) – “These first two races have been frustrating and encouraging all at the same time. Encouraging because we have been competitive and have had a shot at the win or a top-10, but frustrating because we don’t have the finishes to back that up. It’s just a good thing that the season is 35 races long because we now have 33 races to get past the disappointment of these past two weeks and I feel like Las Vegas is a good place to do that.”
