ACDelco Honorary Pit Crew
Members Join Kurt Johnson's
Pro Stock team at Firebird Raceway

PHOENIX, Feb. 24, 2009 -  Kevin and Scott Bartling, co-owners of Bartling Enterprise Automotive Service and Repair in Queen Creek, Ariz., were named ACDelco Honorary Pit Crew members for the Lucas Oil Slick Mist NHRA Nationals at Firebird International Raceway. ACDelco's popular honorary pit crew program awards two ACDelco customers in a local market with the opportunity to serve as pit crew members for a day on Kurt Johnson's ACDelco Pro Stock Chevrolet.

The Bartling's were a part of the ACDelco Pro Stock team last Saturday at FIR.

"When we're not busy working at the shop, we want to be at the race track," said Kevin Bartling. "We've also been fans of Kurt and Warren Johnson for a long time, so this has been an outstanding experience."

"We race ourselves, it's one of our favorite pastimes, so we appreciate what these guys can do with horsepower and the improvements they make each year," said Scott Bartling. "It really is amazing to see."

Established in 1994, Bartling Enterprise is an ACDelco key service center, and during the last 15 years it has evolved into one of Arizona's finest automotive and performance destinations.

"This is a great program," said ACDelco District Manager Brian Hoff. "Many people never have the opportunity to do something like this, and the ACDelco Honorary Pit Crew program lets them be right there with Kurt and his race team. Kurt spends a lot of time with each customer, walks them through every aspect of the race car and answers all their questions. It's the best way to treat a good ACDelco customer."
