Casey Wyatt Racing Plans Ambitious 2009 Season

Newport News, VA- With the short track season just around the corner; Casey Wyatt Racing is putting the final touches on their new Bobby Creech Late Model chassis and finalizing the schedule they have planned for the 2009 racing season.

Wayne Wyatt, owner of the team states that "this will be one of the most diverse seasons our team has experienced. We have plans to compete in 22 races at 9 different tracks. Several of our events in the UARA series are at tracks we have never seen. Our driver Casey Wyatt has always done well when going to a new venue. Our first visits to Florence and Dillon Speedways in South Carolina resulted in a pole and two second place finishes. The tracks on the UARA schedule we plan on running are Rockingham, Dillon, Coastal Plains, Hickory, Myrtle Beach, and Concord. Running our first year with the UARA series will be a challenge that we are looking forward to."

Other tracks the team plans to visit as part of their Whelen All American Late Model Series are Langley Speedway in Hampton VA, South Boston Speedway in South Boston VA, Martinsville and possibly Motor Mile Speedway in Radford Va.

Wyatt Motorsports is still seeking sponsors for the season. Wayne Wyatt states obligations to his business have hampered his ability to focus on obtaining sponsorship. "We have a top notch team with very good equipment to offer. Our packages are very affordable and require involvement from the sponsors and their employees. Short track racing is about winning and having fun while doing so."
