New Citroen Relay Specialist Vehicles
SLOUGH, United Kingdom – February 20, 2009: Citroën is now offering its LCV customers a range of fully finished specialist vehicles with the introduction of its new Relay Specialist range. These include a Citroen Relay Tipper, Dropside and two Luton vans. All models are fully approved and supported by Citroën UK Ltd and feature a full Citroën LCV two year, unlimited mileage or three year/100,000 mile warranty as standard.
As fully approved Citroën vehicles, the official Manufacturer’s Recommended Basic Prices are as listed. However, with Citroën’s latest consumer offers, it is possible for Citroën dealers to supply these new specialist approved models at similar transaction prices to Citroën’s equivalent Ready to Run conversions, which continue to be available (please see separate press release for details):
Robert Handyside, Citroën’s commercial vehicle operations manager, comments, “With the launch of the fully approved Relay Specialist range Citroën is offering even better value than ever. It is possible, with our current pricing structure, for customers to purchase these new, manufacturer approved vehicles for less than the 2009 equivalent Ready to Run models.”
In addition to their full Citroën LCV warranty, the new, fully approved Relay Specialist range (as standard) also offers some enhanced specification levels over equivalent Ready to Run models. All Relay Specialist models are fitted, as standard, with heavy duty, reinforced, twin leaf rear suspension packages. In addition the Relay Specialist Luton Vans have aerodynamic Luton head covers as standard to improve the fuel consumption and performance of these vehicles.
“We are continuing the award-winning Citroën Ready to Run range, which remains the most comprehensive and best value of its type available in the UK LCV market. With the launch of the new Relay Specialist vehicles the Ready to Run range will continue to cater for more individually engineered LCV customer requirements. Thus, Ready to Run will continue to meet demand for individually specified tippers, dropsides and Luton vans as well as for car transporters, minibuses, glass carriers and temperature controlled vans,” Robert Handyside explains.
