Marco Andretti on Gauteng: "I'm looking forward to the race at Kyalami. It's a new circuit for me, and for the A1GP, but I've been watching some old in car footage from past F1 races as well as studying track maps. I hope this will help speed-up our learning curve this weekend. Every week we're getting more and more confident with the car and we're looking to be competitive in South Africa."

Marco Andretti Facts · This will be Andretti's fourth start in the A1 Team USA entry in A1GP. · Andretti finished third in the 2008 Feature Race in Sepang, Malaysia. · Andretti's A1GP debut came in November 2008 in China where he finished 15th in the Sprint Race and eighth in the Feature Race. · He piloted the AGR ALMS LMP2 entry in three races during the 2008 season. · Andretti finished seventh in the 2008 IndyCar Series championship. · He finished second in the 2006 Indianapolis 500 and has recorded second-place and third-place finishes in his three career Indianapolis 500 starts. · He joined both his father and grandfather in earning the Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year honor. · In 2006, Andretti became the youngest driver (19 years, five months, 14 days) at the time to win a major open-wheel race when he took the checkered flag at Infineon Raceway.
