ASHLEY FORCE HOOD MAKES WAVES AT L.A. BOAT SHOW

ASHLEY FORCE HOOD MAKES WAVES AT L.A. BOAT SHOWYORBA LINDA, CALIF. (February 16, 2009) --- Ashley Force Hood was one of the featured celebrity guests at the 53rd annual LA Boat Show yesterday at the L.A. Convention Center. Ashley Force Hood was the guest of Nordic Boat owners Randy and Sandy Davis. In addition to signing autographs for the thousand of show attendees Force Hood’s pink 2007 Rookie of the Year Ford Mustang was also the centerpiece of the Nordic Boat display.“Nordic Boats had a big display area with all their spectacular looking boats. They were all shiny and cool looking. I got to climb up into a number of them. There were boats there that were crazy, boats I have never seen before. The boat show was a boat lover’s dream,?? said the 2007 Rookie of the Year. “Randy and Sandy Davis, the owners of Nordic Boats, were there and they are just so much fun. There were a ton of boats all sorts of colors and my pink Rookie of the Year Mustang funny car was right in the middle of their display.??While a busy Full Throttle Drag Racing season is just getting started Ashley Force Hood is already looking forward to some downtime on the water.“I am a boat person but we don’t get to get out on the lake as much as I’d like. You can’t beat getting out on the water especially when you live in Southern California. You are so close to so many areas that are perfect for boating. Anytime we can get away and just drive a Nordic Boat it is so relaxing to be out on the water with your friends and family. We have already been planning with the Davis’ and my family to look at which weekends we have off from the races to get out on the water with them.??The boat show was also a place for NHRA fans to get the latest updates on the first race of the season the rain prolonged Winternationals.“A lot of the people that came by were at Pomona last weekend for the Winternationals. A lot of them were asking about the rain out and how everyone finished the race. A few of them had taped the ESPN2 show but hadn’t watched it yet. I didn’t give anything away. It was good to talk with the fans about how qualifying went and what a crazy weekend it was,?? said Force Hood.###
