Daytona, February 14, 2009: Racing fans have an extra reason to cheer on driver Travis Kvapil and the Golden Corral No. 28 Ford Fusion at Sunday’s Daytona 500. If Kvapil finishes in the top 10 on Sunday, Golden Corral restaurants will:

· Declare Monday, Feb. 16, “Kids Eat Free Day.” Families who bring in a Daytona 500 race ticket or official race results from a newspaper or Web site will receive a free kids buffet for any child 12 and under with the purchase of an adult buffet at participating restaurants.

· Donate $5,000 to the Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org). Golden Corral is the largest corporate partner with the DAV and has raised more than $3 million for the organization through its Military Appreciation Monday, which started in 2001.

“I’m so proud to have Golden Corral’s support behind us today,” Kvapil says. “We are going to go out there and race our best toward a great finish so we can celebrate our accomplishments with American families and help out disabled veterans who’ve given so much to our country.”

Note: Buffet offer valid at participating Golden Corral restaurants. One kids buffet (children 12 and under) with each purchase of an adult buffet. Limit two per family.
