DAYTONA BEACH, Florida Friday, February 13, 2009: Team owner Curtis Key has just announced that Oakland Metal Buildings, Inc. will sponsor Mike Bliss for the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway. The eleventh hour deal, which was signed late last night, will put Oakland Metal Buildings, Inc. on the No. 40 Chevy Silverado for tonight's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.

Oakland Metal Buildings, Inc., which operates out of Florence, Alabama, is a manufacturer of pre-engineered metal building packages for general purpose, manufacturing, light industrial, church, retail, and agricultural facilities.

"I was sitting and watching qualifying last night and I saw that Mike Bliss didn't have a sponsor. I considered the history that Curtis Key has in racing, and I felt like it was a good company to go with. I was really impressed by Mike Bliss driving the trucks and the quality of the engines, and I knew that it would be a great opportunity for our company." said Phillip May, President of Oakland Metal Buildings, Inc.

The company, which was established in 1962, has a long history of involvement in motorsports and has sponsored late model cars and other local series, but this is their first sponsorship of a NASCAR team. "I've always been involved in racing in some form or another, but this is the first sponsorship with national coverage. I'm excited about our involvement with Key Motorsports and the amount of advertising it can provide Oakland Metal Buildings." May stated.

Bliss, 43, who won the Camping World Truck Series championship in 2002, has 13 wins, 107 top-tens, and 18 poles in the series. Bliss ran 12th fastest in yesterday's final practice with a lap time of 49.255, and will be starting 27th in tonight's 250 mile race.
