Reynolds Announces Integration Between its ERA(R) Parts Application and Volvo VIDA
Integration Enables Smooth Transfer of Parts Information from Volvo's System to ERA Parts Screens
DAYTON, Ohio, Feb. 13 -- The Reynolds and Reynolds Company has announced the availability of integration between its ERA(R) dealership management system (DMS) and the Volvo Vehicle Information and Diagnostics for the Aftermarket (VIDA) computer system for Volvo dealerships in the U.S. and Canada. This integration between the ERA DMS and Volvo VIDA can help dealership parts department personnel save time and effort in redundant data entry, allowing them more time to focus on customers.
With the new integration between the ERA DMS and Volvo VIDA, parts departments can:
-- Easily transfer parts pick lists from Volvo VIDA to the ERA parts screens, saving time and increasing accuracy by helping to eliminate re-keying of parts data from VIDA into the ERA parts screens. -- Access support screens for counter parts sales, parts lookups, and special orders. -- Speed parts order processing input and increase productivity, resulting in faster repairs, more efficient employees, and more satisfied customers.
Cathy Orrico, vice president of OEM Solutions for Reynolds, said, "Reynolds continues to work with automotive manufacturers to develop new and deeper integration between their systems and ours to help make dealerships more efficient and productive. The integration between the Volvo system and our ERA DMS is another example of how we are doing just that."
