Jaguar Affirms State-of-the-Art Digital Technology Leadership with Adoption of HD Radio(TM) Technology Standard Across 2010 Line

CHICAGO, Feb. 11, 2009 -- Chicago Auto Show -- Jaguar today announced that it will offer HD Radio technology across its 2010 product line. HD Radio receivers will come factory installed in the XK hitting dealerships in summer 2009, and followed later in the year by the XF, the first sporting sedan to deliver Jaguar's stunning new design language.

"Jaguar is committed to being at the forefront of adopting innovative media and HD Radio technology is part of that vision," said Nick Gionis, Senior Manager, Jaguar Infotainment. "We're raising the bar by delivering the most pristine sound quality and copious programming variety standard to give our customers the best audio experience that they have come to expect from the Jaguar brand."

The upgraded audio technology will enable drivers to experience the superior quality and clarity, including cutting-edge digital AM/FM radio featuring added content, format selections and essential data services - all with no subscription fees.

"Jaguar's unparalleled standards and reputation for innovative capabilities make their cars the perfect setting to showcase HD Radio broadcasting," said Jeff Jury, COO, iBiquity Digital Corporation, the developer of HD Radio technology. "State of the art HD Radio technology represents a feature that clearly adds value for Jaguar's discerning client base."

HD Radio technology is the most significant advance in radio broadcasting since the advent of FM. Available to 85 percent of Americans, more than 1,850 HD Radio stations are already on the air with over 900 offering new multicast channels (HD2/HD3) that are exclusive to HD Radio listeners. These subscription-free channels feature digitally delivered new music and fresh formats and niche content such as ethnic channels as well as the Pride Channel, the NASCAR Channel, the Psychic Channel, channels that play global music, local artists, unsigned acts, and much more.

The HD Radio platform also enables broadcaster to offer data delivery, supplying text information with song titles and artist names, and also real-time traffic/weather updates, movie listings, sports scores, stock quotes, school closings and emergency alerts.
