Automotive CRM Provider DealerSocket Wins Top Honor in Computer Software Category in 2009 Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service(SM)

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 10, 2009 -- Leading automotive CRM provider DealerSocket last night was presented with a Stevie(R) Award in the Sales Department of the Year - Computer Software category in the third annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

The awards are presented by the Stevie Awards, which organizes several of the world's leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business Awards. More than 500 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted to this year's competition. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word "crowned," winners were announced during a gala banquet on Monday, February 9 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

"Dealers are scrutinizing every penny and only buying products that provide a significant return. Our sales team has worked hard to ensure that our customers and prospects understand the solid financial benefits achieved by using our automotive CRM solution," said Jonathan Ord, DealerSocket Co-Founder and CEO. "DealerSocket is committed to helping our customers find ways to do more with less and continue to drive sales in a very tough market. This award is evidence of the commitment and knowledge our sales and customer support teams deliver to our industry on a daily basis. I am very proud of what they have achieved in 2008 and will continue to achieve in 2009."

Under the leadership of Matt Redden, Vice President of Sales, DealerSocket's sales team added an average of one new automotive dealership customer per day in 2008.

"This year's honorees demonstrate that even in challenging economic times, it's possible for organizations to continue to shine in sales and customer service, the two most important functions in business: acquiring and keeping customers," said Michael Gallagher, president of the Stevie Awards.
