Haybuster to Debut Truck-Mounted Vertical Mixer at National Farm Machinery Show

JAMESTOWN, N.D.--Haybuster Agricultural Products will unveil their new Truck-Mounted Vertical Mixer at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky, February 11-14. The new Truck-Mounted Vertical Mixer is Haybuster’s newest addition to their line of industry-leading farm equipment products manufactured in the USA.

The Truck-Mounted Vertical Mixer was developed to provide a cost-effective solution for large feeding operations. Haybuster’s newest machine gives dairy and beef growers an all-in-one solution to cutting and mixing their feed rations and feeding their livestock without the need for multiple machines or downtime devoted to hitching and unhitching. Especially for those operators with 24-hour operations, the new Truck-Mounted Vertical Mixer will save significant time and increase overall productivity with its ability to offer continuous feeding for large operations.

The Haybuster Truck-Mounted Vertical Mixer is equipped with a 830 Cubic Foot (23.5cu m) capacity with extensions, two 88” (282.52cm) augers, a 24” X 42” (60.96cm X 106.68cm) door opening, a 36” (91.44cm) hydraulic variable speed unloading conveyor, and it is loaded on a 2008 International 7500 6x4 with a 350HP engine and an Allison Automatic Transmission. The unit has a TMR tare weight of 21,000lbs (9774.92kg).

The design of the Truck-Mounted Vertical Mixer was developed around the successful engineering of Haybuster’s CMF-700 Vertical Mixer (cutter-mixer-feeder). The truck mount improves productivity by giving big operations a dedicated machine for non-stop mixing and feeding. Dairy and beef growers that operate around the clock need a unit they can rely on to keep their livestock well fed, and having a truck-mounted CMF means they can travel between their feedlots more economically than with a tractor-pulled unit.
