Myers Industries Announces Date for Annual Meeting of Shareholders

AKRON, Ohio--The Board of Directors of Myers Industries, Inc. today announced the date for the Company’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders, which will be held Thursday, April 30, 2009, at 9 a.m. Eastern time, at the Louis S. Myers Training Center, located at 1554 South Main Street in Akron. The record date for shareholders entitled to notice of and to vote at the annual meeting will be March 10, 2009.
