Bondurant Named Official Driving School of World Challenge

TOPEKA, Kan. February 6, 2009: WC Vision announced today that The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving has been named the Official Driving School of the 2009 SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge season. Bondurant will also sponsor the season finale at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in October.

Many well-known professional drivers honed their skills at The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. The school offers everything from the most introductory of courses to advanced level racing clinics, all at a 60-acre purpose-built facility in Phoenix, Ariz. The prestigious driving school has signed on for several ventures with SCCA SPEED World Challenge in 2009.

As the Official Driving School of the 2009 SCCA SPEED World Challenge season, Bondurant will present each 2009 race winner (GT and Touring Car) with a transferable $500 gift certificate. For the fans, three $500 gift certificates will be raffled off following each driver autograph session and a fantasy racing league will be established with a four-day Grand Prix Racing school presented to the winner.

Of course, race winners can also give their gift certificates to family, friends or that crew member who went the extra mile to get the car just right.

The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving will also serve as the presenting sponsor for the 2009 season finale. The ACS SCCA SPEED World Challenge Finale at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Presented by The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving takes place Oct. 9 – 11 in Monterey, Calif.
