ROLLE, Switzerland February 4, 2009: Infiniti has announced the creation of a centralised Global Communications function which will be headed by Wayne Bruce in the new role of Director, Infiniti Global Communications. The move is designed to strengthen the strategic development and execution of all global Infiniti press and public relations activities, and mirrors the recent establishment of the Infiniti Global Marketing group.

Previously Communications Director Infiniti Europe, Wayne will continue to lead Infiniti’s pan-European communications in addition to his global function and will be based in Rolle, Switzerland. He will be supported by Nathalie Büttner and François Crisias who add global co-ordination of events and media tools to their existing European responsibilities.

The Global Communications team will be assisted by the network of local Infiniti Communications Managers. Starting in the United States, the Infiniti Communications network has already expanded along with the brand into Canada, Taiwan, the Middle East, Korea, Russia, Ukraine and China. Infiniti has been opening Centres across Western Europe since October 2008 and there are now dedicated Communications Managers based in Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Poland. Among the new markets coming in 2009 will be the UK and Germany where local communications will be managed by Wayne Bruce and Nathalie Büttner respectively.

In his new role, Wayne will report to Eric Sipe (General Manager, Global Infiniti Marketing and Sales Operations) for Infiniti Global and to Jim Wright (Vice President, Infiniti Europe) for Infiniti Europe.
