Ewing Re-Elected Chair of AAA Michigan

DEARBORN, Mich., Feb. 3, 2009 -- Stephen E. Ewing, retired vice- chair of DTE Energy, was re-elected for a one-year term as chair of the board of directors of the more than 1.6-million-member Automobile Club of Michigan (AAA Michigan) during a board meeting conducted today (February 3) at the Dearborn Inn in Dearborn.

The board meeting followed AAA Michigan's annual membership meeting, at which AAA Michigan members elected the following three board members to serve three-year terms: Celeste A. Clark, Rick Inatome and Stephen R. Polk.

STEPHEN E. EWING

Ewing is former vice-chair of DTE Energy, one of three major business units of DTE Energy Co. Before that, he was president and chief executive officer of DTE Energy Gas, one of three major business units of DTE Energy Co.

Ewing has been a member of the Automobile Club of Michigan board of directors since 1998 and currently serves as its chairman. Ewing earned a bachelor's degree from DePauw University, an MBA from Michigan State University and an advanced management degree from the Harvard School of Business Administration.

CELESTE A. CLARK

Celeste A. Clark, Ph.D., is Senior Vice President Global Nutrition, Corporate Affairs and Chief Sustainability Officer of Kellogg Company. As a member of the company's Global Leadership Team, Dr. Clark is responsible for providing leadership for Kellogg's worldwide communications, nutrition marketing programs, scientific, sustainability, consumer affairs and corporate administrations functions. She is also a company liaison worldwide between professional associations, government agencies and trade associations on nutrition health policy and advertising practices.

Dr. Clark received a bachelor's degree from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a master's degree in nutrition from Iowa State University. She received a doctorate in food science and human nutrition from Michigan State University.

RICK INATOME

Rick Inatome is Managing Director at Sterling Partners, a $4.2 billion private equity fund. He is CEO of Infilaw, a consortium of three independent community based law schools and a Sterling portfolio company. In addition he is the owner of Motorquest Chrysler/Jeep, a Michigan auto dealership.

Inatome is a renowned expert in the field of information systems, and in 2000, he was elected to the Computer Industry Hall of Fame. Previously, Inatome founded two billion-dollar technology companies, and served on the Advisory Councils for Microsoft, Apple, Compaq and IBM.

Inatome holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Michigan State University.

STEPHEN R. POLK

Stephen Polk is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of R. L. Polk & Co. The company is the leading global provider of advanced information services and statistical reporting for automotive and related industries.

He also serves as Vice President/Director for the Detroit Zoological Society and Vice Chairman/ Director for the Automotive Hall of Fame. He is a member of the board of Detroit Renaissance, The Economic Club of Detroit, Leader Dogs for the Blind and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

Polk graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
