PARIS, France – February 3, 2009: Keen to push ahead with development of the Marque in the Baltic States, Peugeot Automobiles and KWBruun have signed a partnership agreement for the distribution of Peugeot vehicles in Latvia.

The import contract tying Peugeot Automobiles to Lauva Auto in Latvia ended on 2 February 2009 and will not be renewed.

KWBruun, the long-standing importer for the Peugeot marque in Denmark, Sweden and Iceland, and since 2008 in Estonia, boasts the kind of capacities, in terms of organisation, expertise and financial base, which will enable the Marque’s presence on this market to be extended.

It is worth noting that the professionalism and commitment of KWBruun personnel enabled Peugeot Automobiles to retain its position as the leading marque on the Danish market in 2008.

A necessary transition period dedicated to reorganisation of the structure and establishment of the network is now in progress. It should shortly give rise to an organisation which is fully focused on satisfying the Marque's customers and winning market share.
