Infinity Insurance Adds Jobs and Expands Spanish Language Service Capabilities

MCALLEN, Texas, Feb. 2, 2009 -- Infinity Insurance announced the opening of a new 325 seat call center in McAllen, TX today. The facility houses Claims and Customer Service representatives who are specially trained to handle calls from Infinity's large base of Spanish-speaking customers from across the country.

"This investment highlights Infinity's ongoing commitment to raising the bar on Spanish language service and support in our industry," said Jim Gober, Infinity's President and CEO. The company estimates that more than half of their customers are Hispanic in targeted urban areas and reports that many of those customers prefer to interact in Spanish.

Infinity broke ground on the project seven months ago and has been operating the call center from a temporary space in McAllen during construction.
