DIGITAL MEDIA KIT: Michigan International Auto Show (February 5-8, 2009)

The 2009 Michigan International Auto Show is just days away, rolling into
the DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids February 5-8. Activity begins on
Monday the 2nd as we begin to set up the show, including the new car models,
concept cars, pre-production models, the Million Dollar Motorway and the
vintage vehicles from Gilmore Car Museum. 


 


It is my pleasure to invite you to the Media Preview for the 11th Annual
Michigan International Auto Show on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 from 1-3
p.m. 

During this exclusive media preview, you will have a chance to check out the
complete selection of cars - including the Million Dollar Motorway and
Gilmore Car Museum exhibit; talk with show organizers, take photographs
and/or video and get a real feel for this event - which his touted as the
most widely attended annual event in Grand Rapids. Entertainer Nik Wallenda
will be rehearsing his tight-rope walking performance, 60 feet above the GM
area, during the preview and magician Rick Merrill will be practicing his
"slight of hand" tricks. We have event invited patients from Helen DeVos
Children's Hospital to check out these amazing performances. 


 


If you, or someone from your staff, are interested in attending the Media
Preview, please let me know by 5 p.m. on February 2 so that I can add you to
the list. If you have not yet received your credentials for the show, and
are interested in attending any time throughout the run of show, please let
me know and I'll make all the necessary arrangements. 

 

I have attached details about the Photo/Video Ops available throughout the
week. Also attached is the letter outlining the details of the Media
Preview, should you or someone from your media outlet be interested in
attending.

 

As you prepare your coverage of the Michigan International Auto Show, please
