UPDATE 2:

Japanese Automakers' 2008 Overseas Production Statistics
[3rd Quarter and Three Quarters Cumulative]
+---------------------------------------------------------+

Overseas vehicle production by Japanese automakers in the 
third quarter of calendar year 2008 totalled 2,876,118 units, 
a decrease of 1.2% over the same quarter in the previous year.  
This is explained primarily by a decrease in local production 
in the North American market.
