NORTH RYDE, Australia – January 29, 2009: Hyundai Motor Company’s new i30cw (crossover wagon) will make its debut in final Australian specification at the 2009 Melbourne International Motor Show.

Set to go on sale from March, the i30cw offers all the multi-award winning features of the i30 hatch plus added rear seat legroom and a bigger luggage capacity.

To be displayed in top-line ‘Sportswagon’ trim, the i30cw is 230 mm longer and 40 mm taller than the i30 hatch, providing more space and flexibility for a growing family with a full size stroller and shopping.

The i30cw will also suit those people with a busy lifestyle looking for extra space for surf boards or the family dog.

Designed by Hyundai’s European design studio in Russelsheim Germany, the external styling is distinctive, finished with side repeaters housed in the mirrors. The economical petrol and turbo Diesel engines found in the hatch will be available in the wagon; ensuring space is matched with low running costs.
