2009 North American International Auto Show Automotive Education Day To Take Place Today at Cobo Center

WHAT:
Presented by State Farm Insurance, students of Motor City and surrounding area school groups grades 9 - 12 and college level will be visiting the fifth annual Automotive Education Day to explore the many different careers available in the automotive industry. Throughout the day students will attend lesson plans and have one-on-one discussions with various human resources representatives. Students are also able to participate in:

-- EcoCAR: The NeXt Challenge
Seventeen universities across North America will be participating in the EcoCAR: The NeXt Challenge, a three-year collegiate student engineering competition. The competition focuses on minimizing energy consumption and reducing greenhouse emissions in vehicles, while retaining performance and consumer appeal.
