Indianapolis, January 19, 2009: This weekend, RaceFanRadio's crew will be center stage at the second annual "Gathering Before the Green Flag", an open house at the Indiana State Museum as it showcases the various forms of motorsports with Indiana roots...

Interactive displays will cover everything from the legendary soap box derby, the IndyCar and Firestone Indy Lights series as well as USAC Sprints and Midgets plus karting and power boat racing.

"Whether you're a seasoned racing fan, or a newcomer to the sport, this is an awesome opportunity to spend some quality time with the people that make racing happen in Indiana," said event host Mike King, the Radio Voice of the Indy 500 and IndyCar Series. "More and more kids are getting started in racing every year, and this is a great event for parents to get advice from the experts that know this sport inside and out."

Attendees can get up-close-and-personal as we interview the various motorsports personalities in attendance including racing media anchors Bob Jenkins and Mike King from IndyCar, Indianapolis Motor Speedway historian Donald Davidson plus numerous drivers from all forms of the sport.
