Briggs & Stratton Declares Dividend

MILWAUKEE, January 14, 2009: At its regular quarterly meeting held today, the Board of Directors of Briggs & Stratton Corporation declared a quarterly dividend of twenty-two cents ($0.22) per share on the common stock of the Corporation. The dividend is payable April 1, 2009 to shareholders of record at the close of business March 2, 2009.
