HAPPY NEW YEAR AND BEST WISHES FOR YOUR GOOD HEALTH, WEALTH & HAPPINESS

from Bob Gordon, Marc Rauch, and the entire TACH technical and editorial staff

AUTO CENTRAL - December 31, 2008: Well, good riddance to a very trying year. While we're probably not out of the woods yet, we certainly hope that the worst has passed and that we're on the road to recovery.

On a bright note, however, The Auto Channel is happy to report that we've just finished our most productive and exciting year since starting the company in 1987 and going online in January 1996.

In addition to our industry leading in-depth coverage of the regular major events, such as the LA and Detroit Auto Shows, we also provided exclusive Press Pass coverage of several key automotive events that nearly all of our media “competitors” missed; either they forgot about the events, or just didn't know the they existed.

In any event, a complete listing of these events with links to the coverage can be found below. And as is our way, we have retained all of the video, text and image files for everyone to enjoy, at the time of their choosing, and without any fees whatsoever.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS
In early 2008 we added a team of European correspondents, which has allowed us to cover even more of the global auto world, as well as to provide a more comprehensive outside-looking-in perspective of the North American automobile scene.

We also launched our PennySaver Network of special Internet websites; introduced our DealerOnline component, which will revolutionize how auto dealers present consumer vehicle information; and unveiled EV-Motoring.com, a website dedicated to providing the best and most current information on electric vehicles.

In addition, in November 2008 The Auto Channel's popular ROAD TRIP online video series migrated to conventional television. New episodes can be seen on the Comcast Sports Network.

We added tens of thousands of new content pages featuring the latest news, reviews, interviews, product videos, thought-provoking editorials, vehicle specifications, price databases and price comparison tools.

If there was ever any question about what separates TheAutoChannel.com from all other automotive media outlets, our accomplishments in 2008 are the answer.
