Daytona, FLA. December 21, 2008: After setting fast time on Saturday afternoon, ARCA RE/MAX Series veteran driver Patrick Sheltra continued his impressive testing performance on Sunday morning at Daytona International Speedway where Sheltra inched his No. 60B Dodge Charger from as low as ninth on the speed charts to the top-spot before settling for second fastest time of 49.814 seconds or 180.672 miles per hour.

The Whitesville, Kentucky-based team was one of five teams to break into the 49-second bracket Sunday morning under cooler and windy conditions.

Below is a quote from the 22-year old driver who is gunning for the 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series championship.

"We said when we left the track yesterday we were going to concentrate and make this car better. Mission accomplished. We're done for the weekend. Both of our cars are fast in single car and the draft and that's what we're after. I'm really proud of my guys, they were flawless this weekend."

The team will forgo drafting practice this afternoon as the team was comfortable with the drafting attitudes and speed of both of its Dodge Chargers.

The Indiantown, Florida native exited “The World Center Of Racing” all smiles heading back to Dryden, Texas to spend the Holidays with friends and family before hoping to come back and conquer the ARCA RE/MAX Series 2009 season opener in February.
