Dacia's Light Commercial Vehicle Range Now Available In
France. Pre-Tax Prices Start From EUR 6,500.
PARIS, France – December 17, 2008: Dacia has extended its line-up
in France with the introduction of two Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV):
Logan van and Logan pick-up. Both benefit from Renault's considerable
expertise in thefield of LCVs and deliver the same simple design,
robustness and unrivalled value for money that have become hallmarks of the
entire Dacia range. With a load carrying capacity of 2.5 cubic metres, a
loading length of 1.94m and a payload of 800kg, Logan van stands out as a
new benchmark in terms of 'price per cubic metre' thanks to its extremely
competitive pre-tax price range which starts from €6,500 (Logan van
1.4) in France. Logan pick-up is a compact, practical pick-up which
combines a payload of 800kg with the ability to carry items of up to 1.80m
in length, plus almost 300 litres of stowage space in the cabin behind the
seats. Pre-tax prices in France start from €6,900 (Logan pick-up
1.6). Dacia Logan van and Dacia Logan pick-up can qualify for the
€1,000 rebate scheme which operates in France when replacing a
vehicle aged 10 years or more. Vehicles in the Dacia LCV range naturally
benefit from a three-year or 100,000km warranty. Order books for both
models open across the network on December 16, 2008. Dacia Logan van and
Dacia Logan pick-up are both manufactured at Dacia's ISO 14001-certified
plant in Pitesti, Romania. The two vehicles are 95 per cent recoverable by
weight, while five per cent of the plastic they contain is sourced from
recycling. As a consequence, Dacia Logan van and Dacia Logan pick-up dCi 70
and dCi 85 – which emit 140g and 137g of CO2/km respectively –
both qualify for the Dacia ecoČ signature.
