SOUTHFIELD, USA – December 12, 2008: Lear Corporation , a leading global supplier of automotive seating systems, electrical distribution systems and electronics products, today announced it is withdrawing its full-year 2008 financial guidance as a result of further weakness in global automotive demand and overall industry uncertainty.

In response, we have been aggressively attacking our cost structure and pro-actively managing our liquidity position," said Bob Rossiter, Lear's chairman, chief executive officer and president.
