Hyundai Australia Appoints Dan Hawkins as New General Manager Business Sales

CLAYTON, Australia – December 4, 2008: Hyundai Motor Company Australia (HMCA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Hawkins as General Manager Business Sales.

Mr. Hawkins brings to Hyundai over 24 years experience within the Automotive, Fleet Management and Leasing industries, holding numerous technical, operational and sales focussed roles. Mr. Hawkins joins Hyundai Motor Company Australia from sgfleet where he held the position of Sales Manager Northern Region, NSW, ACT and QLD.

Mr. Hawkins will report directly to Hyundai’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Kevin McCann. He will be responsible for national business development opportunities and sales.

Mr. Hawkins is originally a qualified Automotive Technical Engineer and has completed many automotive and sales related courses including an Associate Diploma in Management.
