Ingen Technologies Aims at the Potential $70M Automotive Industry

YUCAIPA, Calif. November 18, 2009: Ingen Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ITEC), an emerging manufacturer of various types of gas flow meters, announced today that it has been approached by several automotive companies that manufacture Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancers (“EFIE”) that work with on-board hydrogen generators, sometimes called HHO boosters or electrolyzers. The company expects an initial purchase order in January-2009.

The EFIE retains all the power and performance while taking advantage of increased mileage. No matter what fuel saver device or method is used, the EFIE will unleash the full potential of the fuel saver. The EFIE alone can save 5-10% on fuel costs simply by 'leaning' the fuel mixture. The EFIE is not considered as a fuel saver on its own, rather it is designed as an ASSIST for fuel savers. When a hydrogen booster is properly attached to a conventional gasoline or diesel engine, the introduction of small amounts of hydrogen gas causes the fuel burn inside the cylinders to be greatly improved. This improved fuel burn results in greater power applied to the downward stroke of the piston. More power from the engine means that the driver needs to use less throttle to maintain speed in normal operating conditions. Less throttle means less fuel consumed. The physics of this improved combustion and exhaust process is quite complex, but the simple truth is: with a hydrogen booster properly installed, drivers use less gas to go the same distance in the same time.

“The Oxyview® flow meter has been tested by FuelSaver-MPG, Inc., and works well as a complement to their EFIE and HHO boosters,” stated Scott Sand, CEO and Chairman.

According to some of the automotive EFIE manufacturers, there is no product equivalent to Ingen’s Oxyview® flow meter. In the U.S., this market is approximately 10% of the vehicles on-the-road, or approximately 10 million vehicles. Worldwide, the market would include 100M vehicles or approximately $700M in Oxyview® orders.

“The potential sales of Ingen’s flow meter for the EFIE market could be as substantial as $70M. With the current economic situation and bouncing oil prices, it would be expected that the EFIE market would increase and cause even greater sales of Oxyview®,” stated Thomas J. Neavitt, CFO.
