World-Wide Power - Thomas Biermaier Is The New Export Manager At ABT

KEMPTEN – November 17, 2008: As per 3rd November, Thomas Biermaier is the new Export Manager at the largest car tuning company in the world of the Volkswagen group. The 31-year old follows Wolfgang Kitzeder, who has now become the General Manager of ABT Asia. “With these individuals we have a very strong line-up and will continue our expansion policy”, says Hans-Jürgen Abt, the General Manager of the company from Allgäu with a rich tradition.

Thomas Biermaier has been at ABT Sportsline for over seven years and in this time has had the best schooling possible: He trained the abilities which brought him to the international stage as team manager in the motor sport department. In addition he worked together with Hans-Jürgen Abt, who therefore knows exactly what to expect from his top foreign representative: “Thomas is a real networker who has excellent international contacts. In addition to this he knows our company inside-out and is therefore able to convey our values all around the world.”

Thomas Biermaier’s responsibilities include, on the one hand, direct contact with importers who successfully sell ABT products in many countries, and on the other hand the set-up of trading structures in important future markets. This is because Hans-Jürgen Abt has clearly set the direction of the company: “To power on with expansion.”
