US 1 Industries Announces 2008 Third Quarter and Nine Month Earnings (Dollars in thousands)

VALPARAISO, Ind. November 13, 2008: US 1 INDUSTRIES, INC. (OTCBB:USOO) announced today the results for its third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2008. Revenues for the third quarter and three month period ended September 30, 2008 decreased 0.7% to $46.0 million compared to $46.3 million for the same period in 2007. The Company’s net income was $972 in the third quarter of 2008 compared to $789 for the same period in 2007.

For the nine months ended September 30, 2008, revenues decreased 5.3% to $132.7 million compared with $140.2 million for the same period in 2007. For the nine months ended September 30, 2008, the Company’s net income increased to $2,476 compared to net income of $2,274 for the same period in 2007.

US 1, through its subsidiaries, operates primarily as a non-asset based service provider to independent businesses operating in the trucking and logistics industries. It offers financial resources, risk management services, insurance and information technology to small independent business owners enhancing their ability to compete in the trucking and logistics industry.
