Networkfleet Receives 2008 AeA High Tech Award

SAN DIEGO, CA. November 12, 2008: Networkfleet®, a leader in wireless fleet management, today announced that it has won the 2008 AeA High Tech Award in the category of communications products and services from the San Diego Council of AeA, the nations largest high tech trade association. Networkfleet received the award on October 31, 2008, at an AeA awards luncheon.

Networkfleet was chosen for its 3500 product line, a wireless fleet management system that remotely monitors the performance and location of fleet vehicles. Networkfleets patented system reads real-time diagnostics from the vehicles engine, giving fleet managers the ability to continuously monitor fuel consumption, speed and emissions status for all of their vehicles. By reducing fuel reduces emissions, fleets using Networkfleet can go green while lowering operating expenses.

This year marked the 15th anniversary of the San Diego High Tech Awards. More than 500 technology executives and government officials, including AeA members and non-members, came together to recognize the successes of local technology companies from a diverse set of categories. The pool of outstanding companies included many first time nominees, demonstrating the growth and strength of the technology cluster in San Diego.
